BEYOND APOCALYPSE Conventional perceptions of adaptation to climate change emphasize the role of innovation in science and technology. But the new challenges demand a much broader creative effort, one which would include radical rethinking of the existing models of business, politics, social institutions, education, media and modes of ethical conduct.
The
second James Lovelock Seminar in 2007 invites leading world experts in
science, technology, the
social science and the humanities ,as well as policy makers and business
leaders , to outline possible scenarios of adaptation to the climate
